Athletics Day - Permission Slips

Just a reminder all children need to have returned their permission slips on Thursday to enable them to attend athletics.

I have received permission slips at this stage for the following pupils:

Please remember for Friday: hat, water, lunch, morning tea, shoes (closed in best). Best to put some sunscreen on the children before school and we will reapply throughout the day.
We need the children to be in class by the start of the music. Children wear t-shirs relating to their surname colour.

Our Dilwali Celebration

This week we've been looking at the Hindu festival of Dilwali. Suhaylah and Salihah brought in their Salwarkameez costumes to share with our class.

Suhaylah and Salihah are wearing a black and red Salwarkameez. Wow, don't they look beautiful?

Kate joins the twins with a beautiful blue Salwarkameez.

Don't the girls look beautiful in their sparkly Salwarkameez. 

Hindus and Muslims wear these costumes for special occasions, like weddings and birthdays. Kate got to wear a beautiful blue Salwarkameez.
