On Friday the 25th of May Reremoana School had a Mufti day. Wow we had some very handsome looking children.

Jump Jam

Jump Jam

Yippee Jump Jam time the children were very excited  when it was Jump Jam time. We practised by the Gurkha and the children loved moving to the beat. The rest of the day all that filled our classroom was the sound of children singing. The next day at Jump Jam Celebration the children did  a great job. Moving to the beat and they did a great job remembering the moves.

Wow it was great watching the children. Some were very good following the beat and others had to work hard and had to concentrate. 

Well done Room 10. I hope to see all of you at the Disco at the end of the term so we can see more of those moves!

Room 10 Writing

In Room 10 we have been working very hard learning our sounds. Every morning we go over our sounds on our word card before we write our stories.

We begin with a  picture plan and then we try to write 5 sounds by ourself before going up to Mrs V for help. We have had a few star writers this week who have done some amazing stories.

Great job Room 10 maybe next week we can work on writing down the beginning and ending sounds.

New Friends

New friends

This therm we got some new friends in our class they are Keira, Kate, Kayne, Callum, Rishaya and Charlie.  We hope that you will have a great time learning in Room 10 and that you will make some great friends.

Devon is the first student to move to Room 16 with Mrs van Zyl. His class is growling steadily with 8 students at the moment.
