Today the children took part in a acting out the Crazy monster song. They danced to the beat and followed the instructions of the singer. Without realising it they also learnt by counting and making sure the right number of monsters were dancing at the right time. We started off with 1 crazy monster then we doubled it to 2 then they doubled it again to 4 till we had 16 crazy monsters dancing along... 16 crazy monsters singing along.
We are learning to:
- follow instructions
- dance to the beat
- count numbers (1+1=2, 2+2=4, 4+4=8, 8+8=16)
- Have fun!
